The "Jacobian" velvet dress

The fitted, basque waist bodice of this dress is made of rayon striped, jewel toned velvet and detailed with braid trim and bows. The skirt is made of yards of contrasting wine velvet with a back over skirt of two layers of black tulle, edged in black satin ribbon.
